DESCRIPTION:Who: Any Scout\, Parent or Adult Leader planning to join us on the Whitewater Rafting trip or any other aquatics activities this year MUST complete a basic BSA Swim Test.  It is not a difficult test\, but needed to maintain safety. There will be a lifeguard on duty. \nWhat: BSA Swim Test and Medical Forms are annual requirements for all registered Scouts and Scout Leaders. Those Scouts and Adults who attended Summer Camp in 2025 and who completed the Swim Test at Camp are exempt from the test. Tests are good for 1 year.  \nWhere: Druid Hills Golf Club - 740 Clifton Rd NE  Atlanta\, GA / If asked at the gate\, tell them you have a swim test at the pool. No need to go inside the club. Troop 455 and Pack 17 have always played an important role in this community service. Were packing 35\,000 meals\, a significant increase in the number of meals prepared in years past. We will need everyone to pitch in. \n     Haygood has packed over 100\,000 meals in recent years. Parents and siblings are encouraged to join. Invite others. Haygood is a loaves and fish type of church. God will make room for all to participate. Tell others about this special day. Watch the video below to see more about the impact you'll have by participating both physically and financially with Rise Against Hunger. \n2023 - 20\,000 meals packed.\n2024 - 22\,000 meals packed.\n2025 - 35\,000 meals planned to be packed. \nSchedule:\nSeptember 14\, 2025\n10:00 AM -11:15 AM: First meal-packing shift\n11:30 AM-12:45 PM: Second meal-packing shift \nChildcare:      Nursery care will be available for families with children under three. DESCRIPTION:Who: Any Scout\, Parent or Adult Leader planning to join us on the Whitewater Rafting trip or any other aquatics activities this year MUST complete a basic BSA Swim Test. It is not a difficult test\, but needed to maintain safety. There will be a lifeguard on duty.  What: BSA Swim Test and Medical Forms are annual requirements for all registered Scouts and Scout Leaders. Those Scouts and Adults who attended Summer Camp in 2025 and who completed the Swim Test at Camp are exempt from the test. Tests are good for 1 year.   Where: Druid Hills Golf Club - 740 Clifton Rd NE Atlanta\, GA / If asked at the gate\, tell them you have a swim test at the pool. No need to go inside the club. Park and go to the right of the porch to the pool gate. There is a bathroom and changing facilities beside the pool\, if needed. If there are any issues\, please call David Moore at 678-571-6989.
