DESCRIPTION:Swimming is more fun when we do it together! We will attend this recreation swim as a pack. Diving board\, rope swing\, and slide will be available.  We will also be working on swimming related adventures for those scouts who are interested.Swimming runs for an hour\, from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM. Attendance is drop-in\, meaning there is no way to register in advance. Plan for scouts to come ready to swim (showered and changed into swim time) and to arrive by 7:00.  We will meet at 7:00 in the lobby outside the pool area and hold a pack-wide talk to facilitate achievement of the swimming related adventures.During the swimming time\, some dens will have swim-related requirements led by their den leaders. DESCRIPTION:Food Bank Farm donates all of its produce to local food banks. During the flooding last December\, the farm was damaged. Pack 100 is volunteering to help rebuild damaged greenhouses so they can get back to focusing on growing food. DESCRIPTION:We will hold a workshop so the scouts can get started on their pinewood derby (PWD) cars in preparation for the derby later this month.Parents will receive copies of this year's rules and design categories.  Scouts can design their cars and have them cut into shape by adult band saw operators.  Sanding paper and tools will be available for working on the cars once they have been cut.Scouts are not expected to stay the entire time.  Dens are suggested to arrive at staggered times\, and some dens will be led through requirements by their Den Leaders to achieve their den-level racing adventures:Lions and Tigers 5:15Wolves and Bears 5:45Webelos and AOLs 6:15

DESCRIPTION:The pack will continue our tradition of marching in Ballard's largest parade\, celebrating Syttende Mai (17th of May)\, Norwegian Constitution Day!We'll meet at the corner of NW 62nd St & 24th Ave NW\, near the 7-Eleven parking lot\, at 4:45 PM. From there\, we'll head over together to the parade check-in point at Adams Elementary School around 5:00. The parade is expected to begin at 6:00.Each person marching (whether scout or adult) needs a signed waiver (Individual Hold Harmless Agreement). We'll have blank waivers available onsite if anyone needs them\, but it's best if you can fill yours out in advance. If you miss the parking lot entrance\, the next left will take you into a loop into the park which leads directly to the picnic shelter; complete the loop to turn around and head back to the parking lot.

DESCRIPTION:Kick off a new year of scouting with a family camping trip! We have the group camp site reserved. Camp site check-in is at 2:30 PM on Saturday Oct. 10th\, and check-out is Sunday Oct. 11th at 1:00 PM. Scouts should attend with at least one parent. Families must provide their own tents (although we have a couple to loan as needed). Both dinner and breakfast will be potluck-style. SUMMARY:Pack: Camp Halloween
DESCRIPTION:Join Pack 100 as we enjoy some spooky outdoor fun at Camp Halloween!  Planned activities include BB guns and archery\, Cub World games\, arts and crafts\, and more!  Lunch is provided.  Costumes are encouraged (if comfortable and appropriate for the outdoors)\, but no masks allowed.  This event is open to the public\, so go ahead - invite some friends!Cost: $40 per Scout; $45 per Non-Scout; $15 per Adult.  Children under 5 are allowed to attend\, but may not participate in any activities.To sign up\, parents need to register here and submit payment online.  (Note: the registration page says 8:00 AM start time\, but that's incorrect - actual start time is 9:00 AM).  This event fills up quickly\, so sign up soon to make sure you get a spot!If you are unable to attend Camp Halloween on Oct. 17th with the rest of the pack\, you can still go on your own another date. DESCRIPTION:Pack 100 is partnering with MOD Pizza for our first fundraiser of the year!Check this page for details about the event\, including a digital flier you can post on social media.The fundraiser goes all day\, any time - just place an order online using the special code "MODGIVES25"\, or order in person and tell them the code (or mention that you're there for the Cub Scout fundraiser).  The pack will receive 25% of the proceeds (with a few exclusions).If you want to make it even more fun and eat dinner at the restaurant with fellow scouts\, we'll have people from the pack onsite from 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM.  Drop in when it's convenient!
