SUMMARY:Scouting for food Distribution
DESCRIPTION:PLEASE BE SURE TO RSVP FOR BOTH DATES!As Scouts\, we know how fortunate we are to have a warm meal every night whether around the campfire or at the kitchen table. And we know that not everyone is so lucky. That's the genesis of Scouting for Food\, the annual food-collection drive run by your local council. It's another reminder to our local communities that Scouts are here\, doing good turns. Scouting for food is our pack's annual community service project to support the Sussex Area Food Pantry. Participating in this event not only helps the local residents\, but it also completes the service component for each scout. We will be distributing mailbox hangers to all the homes in the Marcy School area beginning Saturday\, March 8th. We ask that all fliers be distributed by the end of day on Sunday\, March 9th. This is a two-weekend activity\, food will be picked up on Saturday\, March 16th from 9-12. This is a big job\, and we need a lot of volunteers to make this happen. The routes should take about 1- 2 hours to complete. Please come by N50W16869 STONEFIELD CT. MENOMONEE FALLS 9am and 11am on Saturday\, March 8th to pick up a map and fliers to distribute. If you can't pick up the mailbox hanger from 9-11 on March 8th\, please let AMANDA know so he can get you a map and fliers. If you are not able to collect food\, please let us know when you get your map. Please RSVP for this event so we know how many are able to participate in distribution. The Sussex food pantry depends on this food to stock their supply. If you need additional supplies\, please email AMANDA HOFF amanda.hoff1986@gmail.com
