DESCRIPTION:Summer camp will be at Cub World July 17-19\, 2025.   I know it seems early\, but please RSVP in Scoutbook if you know you will be going or you think you may be going.   We have to put deposits down on spots we think we will need on Monday morning January 6.  We have to do it this early to get the Fort.  It will be helpful for us to get an estimate on how many spots we may need.  If you have any questions about summer camp\, please let us know.  The price of camp will be $235 for scouts and $95 for adults.  T-shirts are $15 extra.  Please RSVP in Scoutbook for scout and adult spots.  If you would like a t-shirt for the extra $15\, please put your size in the comment section.  If you are having trouble logging into Scoutbook\, please email or text your RSVP info to us. SUMMARY:Summer Canoe Trip - RSVP ASAP
DESCRIPTION:Hello Scouting Family\,&nbsp;\nWe are planning to go on a canoe trip on the Whitewater River at Morgans Canoe Rental on July 12\, 2025.    This will be the 10th consecutive year that we have done this event\, and every year it has been a great time.   We canoe\, swim\, collect fossils\, have lunch on the river banks.&nbsp;\nHere is the agenda for the day.&nbsp;\nArrive by 9:15am and sign wavers.   Then collect your canoe gear.    Pack a lunch\, bring sunscreen and plenty of water.   We try and get on the river by 9:30 to 9"45.   This trip us usually done around 2:30 to 3:00.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nPlease let me know in the comments\,  how many canoe's you would like.    Small kids are usually acceptable if they want to sit in the middle of the canoe. SUMMARY:Parish Picnic
DESCRIPTION:Parents/Leaders\,\nThe parish picnic is upon us in two weeks! As every year\, we volunteer our time to help cook and feed parishioners at the annual picnic at Stricker's Grove. This year\, the event is on Friday\, September 5th. We need your help! Below is a link to sign up for one or more of the slots and positions needed to make this happen.\nThis is a great event to not only volunteer\, but have an adult beverage or two with other scouting parents and have a great evening! We set out tip jars and collect cash as it is donated for the pack use. Last year\, we raised over $1000 which is the equivalent to over $3000 in popcorn sales. What does that mean? SUMMARY:Pack 850 Fossil Hunt and Join Scout Night
DESCRIPTION:Scouting Families\,\nWe will be going to Trammel Park in Sharonville for our annual Fossil Hunting event!  We will also have Join Scouts Night at the same event.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nFor those that went the past two years\, this is an awesome event.    This was one of our best attended events last year\, and we hope that you and your scouts are able to attend.   We will have Kona Ice.  We will have geodes for the kids to crack open.  Please bring buckets to carry tools\, fossils\, and geodes.  Please bring hammers and chisels or screwdrivers for breaking geodes and excavating for fossils.  As always\, siblings are allowed to join\, and if your scout has friends that could be interested joining scouts\, bring them along!\nWhile the kids are digging and eating Kona Ice\, parents can dig\, eat Kona Ice\, and have a quick presentation of what this year in Scouting Pack 850 looks like. DESCRIPTION:We will be camping at Camp Friedlander\, a Scout camp in Loveland.  We will have a chili cookoff.  Bring the family!  Families are encouraged - but not required - to bring a tent and stay the night.  We have the campsite for Friday night and Saturday night.
