SUMMARY:January Pack Meeting:  AOL Takeover & Hobo Stew
DESCRIPTION:Pack 770/1776:This is a family favorite every year where we cook Hobo Stew at the Pack meeting. This is about giving back\, and as a reminder\, we ask that you please bring the following items:"	(2) cans of vegetables or beans; 50% of all cans will be donated to MUST Ministries."	A gently used or new warm coat (child or adult size) to donate to MUST Ministries."	A mess kit to enjoy the stew and your own bottle of water; vegetarian & beef stews will be complimentary to all who attend.The history of Hobo Stew goes back to a time when homeless camps would put together a stew by having people combine whatever food they had on-hand\, pour it into a large pot\, cook it over a hot fire and share a meal as a community. Pack 770 pays homage to those less fortunate by recognizing their strife\, spreading awareness to our youth that food insecurity is still a real issue today\, and share in our own stew like those before us.Another time-honored tradition is the "AOL Takeover"\, which is the last Pack meeting our AOL's will participate in before they will cross over into Scouting. We got a question about 3D printing and wanted to share clarifications and an update to the rules.Parent-Friendly Summary:You are welcome to use 3D printed parts for the "cool stuff" fenders\, spoilers\, or decorations. However\, the "skeleton" (the wood frame) that connects the front wheels to the back wheels must remain the original piece of wood from the kit.Technical Specification:Rule 20 (Single Block Construction): The main chassis of the car must be constructed from a single\, solid\, and congruent piece of the wood block provided in the official kit. All four axles and wheels must be attached directly to this single piece of wood. While the block may be shaped or hollowed out\, the underlying wood frame connecting the axles must remain one continuous piece and cannot be separated into multiple disconnected parts.* Rule 21 (3D Printed Components): The use of 3D printed molds\, parts\, or designs is permitted for decorative or aerodynamic purposes.
