Experience a unique parade that travels throughout the Historic Downtown Fuquay District. With over 80 floats and/or vehicles\, this parade draws a huge crowd from Fuquay-Varina and all across surrounding municipalities.&nbsp;\nClass A Uniforms\nWe are number #28 in the parade line up which means we will be early in the parade so that if you and your family want to watch the remaining parade and see Santa you can. Attached is the line up and parade route. We are in Zone 1 and slotted to arrive around 3:00 pm. Parking will be tight (see https://fuquayvarinachristmasparade.org/faq-2/ for possible parking areas) so I would recommend you come a little earlier. I do not know exactly where we will be on the road but call me or Michael if you can not find the Pack. I will try and have someone from the Pack at the Fuquay Baptist Church to direct you. If you wish to pass out candy\, feel free to bring some. Just remember\, we have to pass out the candy\, not throw it! Please have your scout wear his/her uniform\, pack sweatshirt if you have one and feel free to wear a festive hat if you wish. DESCRIPTION:2026 Pack 320 Pinewood Derby\nStart Your EnginesIts Pinewood Derby Time!\nGet ready for the fastest\, most thrilling event of the Cub Scout year! Scouts will bring their handcrafted cars to the starting line and race head-to-head down the track\, cheered on by family\, friends and fellow scouts. Whether youre chasing the checkered flag\, aiming for a design award\, or just here for the fun\, the Pinewood Derby is all about creativity\, sportsmanship\, and Scout spirit. Who will take home a trophy? Theres only one way to find outsee you at the races! This year's Pinewood Derby will be on Saturday February 7th at Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church in the centrum (where we meet for Scouts). The event will start at 8am with check-in and we'll have times available for each rank's races a little closer to the event. Each rank will have the chance to win 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place for speed. Additionally\, there will be two design awards presented to each rank for best design and most original. Each of the winners for every rank will be able to compete at the District Pinewood Derby (date TBA - Maybe 03/07/2026??)\n\nIn order to make sure that our pack has a fair race and that our winners can compete in the District Pinewood Derby we have to follow the district rules.
