Cell service is moderate and can be poor in spots. \n\n\nWeather:  Weather in Colorado can change quickly. We can expect lows in teh high 40s and highs near 80°F with some chance of wind or precipitation\, but always check and verify the forecast shortly before the event. Come prepared for normal seasonal variability in Colorado weather. Dress in layers and pack a raincoat or waterproof shell. Normal rain or snow conditions wont cancel the event. If bad weather is forecast\, final decisions for weather cancellation will be made the evening before the event (Friday\, Sep 19). If the weather becomes unexpectedly hazardous during the campout\, the event will be canceled. \n\n\nGeneral Camping Rules \nInform a leader before leaving the camp area. Be specific about purpose\, destination\, and expected return time. \nAlways travel with at least one buddy. \nStick to the plan. \nKeep your Cub Scout six essentials with you at all times. \nAdults should have additional essentials with them at all times such as cell phone\, car keys\, a one day supply of any medications\, etc\n\n\nSafety \nMaintain a clean camp. Dont leave food or trash to attract animals. Smellables in the car overnight.\nLeave no trace. Pack it in and pack it out. \nNO tree\, fence\, rock\, or other climbing without specific permission. \nNO fighting with or throwing sticks or rocks. \nNO participating in waterfront activities without proper supervision. \nNO use of knives\, axes\, or other cutting tools without proper training. \nNO throwing of any objects except as part of an organized activity. \nNO food of any kind in tents. \nNO flame in any tents. \n\n\nNot Permitted: Alcoholic beverages\, tobacco products\, or recreational drugs.
